New Year, New You

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been taking some time off to reflect on 2020 and start making plans for 2021.

One of my big goals for 2021, is to improve the quality of my live videos. I’ve struggled a lot this year with lighting, camera angles, and the less than interesting backdrop of my office in our rental house.

I enlisted my husband’s help to research lighting options and finally decided on some great USB LED lights. I had to upgrade my surge protector and rearrange my desk, but the new lights are ordered and on the way. We are still in search of our forever home where I can set up a permanent studio and get things just right, but the new lights should help a lot!

Another big goal for 2021 is to shift my focus from nutritional information (secondary foods) to lifestyle transformation (primary foods). While I’ll still be sharing healthy, delicious recipes, in every health coaching program I’ve run to date, the participants really needed help with things other than food. Food issues were just symptoms of other things going on in their lives (toxic relationships, lack of sleep, lack of connection, etc.), so I really want to dig deeper and offer more resources on transforming your life.

Last but not least, I’m finally going back to school in pursuit of my PhD. I’ve wanted a PhD since I was a little girl, and I finally decided on a subject matter, so I’m heading back to school in Fall of 2021.

What are your plans for 2021?
