Setting Boundaries

Setting Boundaries is one of the most important aspects of creating healthy relationships. As we establish boundaries in our relationships, we are literally teaching others how we want to be treated. None of us are mind readers. It is our responsibility to communicate our needs and wants to the people we interact with.

If you are in co-dependent relationships or have never established boundaries, it takes practice, and you should be prepared for pushback. You’re changing the rules and not everyone will be happy about it, but the people who love you and want a healthy relationship with you will respect and honor your boundaries.

Remember…. If you don’t love and respect yourself, why should anyone else? And all of deserve to be loved and respected!
